Zakai Anderson, 16 of Harrisburg, was most recently arrested after forcing his way into a victim's home on the 100 block of South Lockwillow Avenue and tried robbing them at gunpoint around 2:45 p.m. on April 25, township police said.
He reportedly fled when he was spotted by a second resident of the home was seen he fled but was arrested later that day after being identified by a victim.
Police are attempting to identify a second suspect described as a black male, in his teens, and wearing all black.
Anderson was charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to commit Robbery -- the same offenses he faced in 2020, authorities said.
The previous incident of attempted armed robbery involving Anderson took place on the 2300 block of Kensington Street prior to a shooting that left a girl, 16, with a serious gunshot wound, according PennLive.
Anderson was released in June on $25,000 bail and the case was closed following the arraignment, additional details have not been made public in that case, according to court documents.
He was being held in Dauphin County Prison without bail because, “Danger to society, juvenile probation. Weapons involved,” as stated in court documents.
Anderson's preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 12th at 2:30 p.m.
Lower Paxton Township Police are continuing to investigate this most recent case.
The suspects were seen entering a gray Honda Accord and then fleeing the area. The gray Honda Accord was reportedly operated by a white female.
